About Ahimsea
Hi! My name is Nadine and I'm the founder of Ahimsea Holistic Wellbeing.
Ahimsea was born from a deep love for nature, a devotion to holistic practices and a desire to help others find balance and tranquility in their daily lives.
This journey began with my love for yoga and expanded into continuous studies of the many paths that nurture body, mind, and spirit. I completed my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Liz Lindh at Lakshmi Rising in Costa Rica in 2020, followed by a 300hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in Rishikesh, India with Yoga Vidya Mandiram, where I deepened my practice in Ayurveda and meditation. To expand my knowledge further, I earned a 60hr Ayurvedic Nutrition Certificate with My Vinyasa Practice and completed a 100hr Herbalism Program with Ecoversity. These experiences shaped my holistic approach to wellbeing, weaving together yoga, Ayurveda, herbalism, meditation, and mindful living.
Being Swiss-born and Costa Rica-based, I have always felt a strong connection to the natural world. As a child, I dreamed of living close to the ocean — today, I follow that dream by embracing a simple barefoot lifestyle in harmony with the sea and the land. To me, true luxury is found in stillness, fresh air, nourishing food, and taking care of body and mind.
The name Ahimsea reflects this vision. Rooted in ahimsa — the Sanskrit principle of non-violence toward ourselves and others — and combined with the sea, it symbolizes both a flowing state of being and my commitment to ocean protection. Ahimsea donates 1% of its profits to ocean conservation projects, because wellbeing extends beyond us and into the world we share.
Through herbal remedies, guided meditations, yoga practices, Ayurvedic nutrition, and lifestyle rituals, Ahimsea is here to support you in reconnecting with yourself and finding balance. My mission is not only to guide, but to empower you with tools so you can care for yourself, trust your own inner wisdom, and live a more harmonious, healthy life.
